This is an amazing place to eat brunch and pick up a few vegan groceries. They really made this weary traveler feel welcome. Salad was so fresh. I recommend the breakfast burger too which they made vegan.

I had been trying to come here for lunch for quite awhile, and always seemed to miss them being open... But I finally made it!!
Today's lunch special was a Veggie Quiche on a Almond Flour crust.. very Ketogenic friendly!! It was light and fluffy.. It came with a fresh salad and dressing of your choice.
The water is free.
After lunch, I browsed the attached health food store.... I picked up a low-sugar chocolate bar that was delicious. I also asked a lot of questions, and the lady at the til was very helpful. If she didn't know something, she would google it and respond...
Warning: Do not suggest that they should add protein/meat options to their menu, as my friend did. This slur will instigate a review of meat-vs-plant efficiencies.... -

Food was wonderful. Has bulk spices and so many vegan options. Got tailed by two different employees the entire time I was shopping after my meal. It got extremely uncomfortable after the 3rd time they moved to be closer to me, while taking up 3/4 of the hallway leading back into the store. Such a bizarre experience. I was really looking forward to that vegan parmesan and ice creaaaaaam.
Cant wait until another store like this opens. How sad that a place so progressive and cute could be so openly rude and ignorant to the customer's experience. -

I finally had a chance to try Good Natured this afternoon for lunch. It is easy to find in an adorable bright blue house in the heart of downtown Martinsburg. There is limited parking behind the house but you can also park on the street.
Immediately upon entering you will find a rather unique health food store, full of all kinds of organic cooking products. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. I wish I would have had more time to browse their selection. The cafe is in the back of the house. You order from the counter and they deliver the food to your table. I ordered the Coconut Barbecue sandwich. It was a huge sandwich packed full of flavor. For a first timer, I really enjoyed the barbecue tofu. It had a nice sweet and tangy sauce. The bread had a nice crunch. My only complaint would be that it was very messy. Get extra napkins!! I opted for the green side salad. It was also full of color, flavor, and tasted fresh. The attention to detail here is impeccable. It was almost too beautiful to eat.
I did notice that one of the employees was new and had to ask others for help, which is understandable. Everyone is new at some point in their life. This person forgot my drink, but I kindly reminded and they brought it right out and apologized. No big deal. The prices were a little high, but you definitely won't leave hungry. Give them a try. -

The food used to be better. This time I got the soup and it was very watery. The service has always been bad and this trip was no exception. When you come in there is no one around. You search, still no one. Eventually someone came but they weren't back when I needed refills or anything. This has been an issue for a while. Staff! Man your post!!
